Hi, I'm Nikolai!

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Rhode Island and founder of OMpowerment Psychotherapy, a space for integrative, holistic, and creative psychotherapy.

I specialize in helping people cope with life transitions, burnout, and establishing balance in their lives.

I founded OMpowerment Psychotherapy with a unique goal: to focus on the overlap between mental health and personal development.  My approach integrates the holistic with evidence-based, Westernized mental health practices.

To do this, I combine my training in mental health counseling, yoga, motivational interviewing, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and interpersonal communications.

Some of those terms may sound familiar to you, while others may not.  As you get to know me, your understanding of these strategies will deepen.

What’s important for you to know up-front is that I take a truly balanced approach to my clients and work as a therapist – providing professional care rooted in sound clinical judgment with flexible, client-centered direction.

There are no cookie cutter approaches at OMpowerment Psychotherapy.  Instead, I focus on developing strong, collaborative relationships with clients.

Together, we work toward incorporating techniques that work best for your own personal plan for growth.

Please explore my site to learn more about my approach and areas of specialty, helpful research and resources, and how to work with me.

Thank you in advance for considering this collaboration with me!

May you be calm, may you be compassionate, and may you always find peace.
